Learn more about nature in the Adirondack Mountains on a naturalist-led interpretive walk at the VIC. The walks are offered at 1:00 PM every afternoon, starting 20 June and continuing through Labor Day. Participants meet in the VIC building at 1:00 PM for an hour-long walk exploring different aspects of nature in the Adirondack Park. Participating in nature walks is an excellent opportunity to hone your skills as a naturalist, while enjoying beautiful scenic vistas from the VIC's well-maintained trails. Walks are underwritten by Friends of the VIC. Free for Friends of the VIC. $10 for nonmembers.

The Paul Smiths VIC offers a wide variety of programs throughout the year to educate and inform Adirondack Park residents and visitors about the natural wonders of the Adirondack Mountains. Explore the Trails

The VIC trails are free and open to the public, from dawn to dusk, spring through fall. In winter, the trails are open to cross-country skiers and snowshoers for a fee. Day or season passes may be purchased.
