Naturalist-Led Interpretive Walks
During the summer of 2012, the VIC offered a free one-hour, naturalist-led interpretive walk every day at 1 PM. Each walk highlighted a different aspect of nature. Themes included studies of Adirondack wetlands, trees of the Adirondacks, Adirondack habitats and forest communities, mosses, and summer wildflowers. During the fall, the VIC offers interpretive walks on selected Saturdays. The next walks are scheduled on Saturday, 13 October and Saturday, 20 October. Participants meet in the VIC building at 1:00 PM for an hour-long walk.
