Weekends are for music at the VIC!
The Sunday Afternoon Live Music and Ski Series continues Sunday, 16 February, when Curt Stager and Kary Johnson will entertain with various styles of guitar and banjo music in the Great Room at the VIC from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
- Kary Johnson earned a B.A. in Music Education from the Crane School of Music, after which she taught music in public schools and conducted a community band for more than a decade. She performs on guitar, bass, and tinwhistle with several bands and also plays half a dozen other classical and traditional instruments. She works on behalf of people with developmental disabilities through Citizen Advocates, Inc.
- Curt Stager is Professor of Natural Sciences at Paul Smith's College and an accomplished musician, specializing in various banjo and guitar styles and performing frequently in the area.
