Schedule of Events

Registration for the 2014 Great Adirondack Birding Celebration opens 1 February 2014. Registration for the full three-day event includes all activities except Birding Across the Adirondacks Field Trip & Essentials of Nature Photography Workshop (both on Friday). Pricing is as follows:

The all-day Birding Across the Adirondacks Field Trip on Friday is an additional $70. (Sorry. This field trip is FULL.) The all-day Essentials of Nature Photography Workshop has been cancelled..

A la carte pricing: We also offer a la carte pricing for birders who do not wish to sign up for the entire three-day event. Prices for each activity are indicated on the Great Adirondack Birding Celebration 2014 schedule. You need not register for the Great Adirondack Birding Celebration to attend an individual event. However, preregistration is encouraged for those who plan to attend one of the field trips or workshops, so we can have an idea of how many to expect. The Paul Smiths VIC offers a wide variety of programs throughout the year to educate and inform Adirondack Park residents and visitors about the natural wonders of the Adirondack Mountains. Explore the Trails

The VIC trails are free and open to the public, from dawn to dusk, spring through fall. In winter, the trails are open to cross-country skiers and snowshoers for a fee. Day or season passes may be purchased.
