Participants will also learn about what's involved in raising goats to provide milk for goat milk soap. Those attending the class will take home information handouts and 2 cold process soaps.  This is a demonstration class.  Please wear long-sleeved shirts and closed-toed shoes to class.  This class will take place from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM and cost $35 per person.

Instructor: Rose Bartiss has been raising goats near Vermontville, New York, for 10 years. The extra milk on the farm goes into goat milk soap that Rose sells locally. In 2011, Rose started the Adirondack Goat Club to bring together goat owners and enthusiasts all over the area. The mission of the club is to create a network of people who can rely on each other for help with their goats, for the sharing of information and equipment, and for the sale and trade of quality animals.
