The 9th annual Great Adirondack Birding Celebration, the longest-running boreal birding festival in the Northeast, was held 3-5 June 2011 at the Paul Smith's College Visitor Interpretive Center (VIC) in Paul Smiths, New York. The three-day event featured birding trips, lectures, workshops, and the popular Teddy Roosevelt Birding Challenge. The Wetland Walk at the VIC was held from 2 to 4 PM on Friday, 3 June. The walk included the Barnum Brook Trail and portions of the Boreal Life Trail.

Explore the Trails

The VIC trails are free and open to the public, from dawn to dusk, spring through fall. In winter, the trails are open to cross-country skiers and snowshoers for a fee. Day or season passes may be purchased.
