VIC Volunteers and Friends of the VIC can take advantage of a special training session with VIC Naturalist Brian McAllister. We will focus this session on Animal Tracks and Traces. We'll be looking for animal tracks of those species that call the Adirondacks home for the winter. Tracks commonly found in this wetland and mixed forest ecosystem include: mole, vole, hare, grouse, deer, bobcat, and American martin.

Dress appropriately for the weather. Free to all VIC Volunteers and Friends of the VIC.

Explore the VIC

Explore the Trails

The VIC trails are free and open to the public, from dawn to dusk, spring through fall. In winter, the trails are open to cross-country skiers and snowshoers for a fee. Day or season passes may be purchased.
