If you are in grades 3-5, join Deb at the VIC to explore nature’s winter preparation and survival.  Each day will have a different theme, which will follow through a snowshoe walk, craft, educational piece, and related games.  Please dress your child in clothing appropriate to spend 2-3 active hours outdoors.  Your child will need to bring a lunch and a snack for their day long adventure.  There is a 4 student minimum for the program to run. 

The program runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Cost:  $35/person or $25 for Friends of the VIC.  Preregister by 5:00 on 14 February.

The Paul Smiths VIC offers a wide variety of programs throughout the year to educate and inform Adirondack Park residents and visitors about the natural wonders of the Adirondack Mountains. Explore the Trails

The VIC trails are free and open to the public, from dawn to dusk, spring through fall. In winter, the trails are open to cross-country skiers and snowshoers for a fee. Day or season passes may be purchased.
