Canoe-building Demonstration at the Paul Smiths VIC Sun Space (12 November 2013)Canoe-building Demonstration in the Sun Space Gallery (12 November 2013)Paul Smith's College alumnus Bill Sommerfeld is showing alumnus Kyle Dash how to construct an ultra light skin on frame canoe in the VIC Sun Space.  The boat is a Snowshoe 12' canoe designed by Platt Monfort. Construction will continue through the week. Stop by the exhibit space from 10:00 AM- 4:00 PM to watch daily progress. You can also monitor the VIC Facebook page for updates.

Explore the Trails

The VIC trails are free and open to the public, from dawn to dusk, spring through fall. In winter, the trails are open to cross-country skiers and snowshoers for a fee. Day or season passes may be purchased.
