Birding the Adirondacks:
Autumn Owl Walk
Friday, 13 November 2015
Come and walk in the woods at the VIC and see whooo’s calling. Participants will learn owl natural history, call notes, and how to listen for calling owls. We'll be listening for two species of owl: Barred Owls and Northern Saw-whet Owls. Bring a flashlight or headlamp to help guide your way. Please dress appropriately for being outdoors at night.
The cost is $10/person or $5 for Friends of the VIC. The program starts at 7:30 PM. Preregistration is required by 5:00 PM the day before the event.
